Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a hands-on Senior Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and evolve a greenfield digital product for a fashion retail client. You will work with Java/Spring Boot on the backend and React on the frontend, defining architecture and MVP capabilities with AI-assisted development.

You'll collaborate with Spanish-speaking stakeholders, contribute to technical direction, and mentor the team while delivering scalable, production-ready software in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience in fullstack development, including backend services, frontend applications, APIs, and integrations.
Strong knowledge of React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience designing and building applications from scratch, including MVPs and greenfield projects.
Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, performance, and maintainability principles.
Experience working with microservices, REST APIs, and modern application architectures.
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ability to evaluate technical alternatives, create proof-of-concepts, and make pragmatic architectural decisions.
Understanding of software quality practices, including testing, code reviews, security, and automation.
Experience collaborating with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and drive technical discussions and decisions.
Fluent Spanish (C1 or higher) and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Spanish-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve a new digital product using Java/Spring Boot and React.
Design solution architecture and make key technical decisions.

Collaborate with Spanish-speaking stakeholders to define and deliver MVP capabilities.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Promote engineering best practices and provide technical leadership within the project team.
