Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Senior Manager, AI-Enabled Engineering in Las Vegas to lead a team delivering scalable, secure AI-augmented solutions. You will partner with Product, Design, and Quality to drive planning, delivery, and continuous improvement, while hiring, coaching, and developing talent.

The role emphasizes technical excellence, reliable delivery, and a culture of operational rigor, with responsibility for coaching a small team and overseeing contingent resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• 6+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong foundation in software delivery and engineering operations.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineers in fast-paced environments.
• Experience providing AI-augmented quality oversight via dashboards, metrics, and systemic indicators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver sprint and quarterly commitments with focus on quality, reliability, and predictable execution.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to drive roadmap planning, estimation, prioritization, and delivery trade-offs.
• Foster a high-performing engineering culture with ongoing learning, sustainable on-call practices, and proactive tech debt management.
• Establish and enforce engineering practices, including code reviews, testing strategy, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
• Build AI fluency across the org by enabling engineers to leverage AI tools while applying judgment to AI outputs.
• Evolve performance and quality practices using AI-driven metrics and architectural thinking.
