MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Director of AI-Enabled Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams and steer the company’s AI-augmented software delivery at scale. You will shape engineering strategy, organize teams, and guide investments to improve delivery, quality, and innovation.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, a track record of cross-functional collaboration with product and design, and a deep understanding of AI-enabled practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing multiple engineering teams via Engineering Managers.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience across large-scale software delivery.
• Experience leading multi-team organizations with cross-functional alignment.
• Experience with AI-era workforce planning and organizational design.
• Ability to define technology strategy aligned with roadmaps and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery and engineering quality across major product domains.
• Define and drive technical strategy in line with roadmaps and business objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing decisions, and balance between FTEs, contingents, and AI-enabled capacity.
• Create and scale 'standards as code' practices across teams (e.g., ADRs, linting).
• Partner with Product, Design, and QA to drive cross-functional alignment and delivery effectiveness.
