Job summary

Origin Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Data & Analytics Business Systems Analyst in Boston for a leading global private investment firm. The role is hybrid (Back Bay) with 3 days in the office and 2 remote, spanning data, BI, automation, and AI-enabled solutions across investment, finance, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate will gather requirements, design dashboards in Tableau/Power BI, prototype AI/workflow solutions, and partner with developers and business stakeholders through

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business systems, data analytics, BI, or related field
• Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI
• Experience gathering requirements and delivering solutions through testing, implementation, and user adoption
• Strong communication with technical teams and business stakeholders
• Python for data analysis or automation preferred
• Experience with SQL, Snowflake, AWS, or data warehouses
• Familiarity with large language models and workflow automation is valued
• Experience in investment management or data-intensive environments is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, analytics, engineering, finance, or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support data and reporting solutions across private-market investment and business teams
• Gather requirements, identify high-value opportunities, and translate business needs into technical specs
• Develop and support dashboards and analytical tools using Tableau or Power BI
• Prototype and deploy AI-enabled applications and workflows
• Collaborate with developers, data teams, vendors, and stakeholders through design, testing, and training
• Evaluate existing systems and workflows, identify risks or inefficiencies, and recommend scalable solutions
