Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join the Emerging Technology & Innovation team. This hybrid role blends business insight with technical analysis to translate ambiguity into structured opportunities and scalable technology-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product analytics, or similar roles within insurance, with comfort in AI-enabled tools and agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, BI, IS, CS, or related field.
• Coursework or certifications in BA, PM, agile, or user-centered design are a plus.
• Experience translating ambiguous business needs into actionable requirements and backlog content.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities for technology-enabled improvement.
• Translate broad ideas into problem statements, opportunity briefs, user stories, and backlog items.
• Lead MVP scope, requirements, dependencies, and success measures with cross-functional teams.
• Support pilots, PoVs, and implementations from concept through launch.
• Monitor emerging technology trends to guide strategic planning and investment decisions.
