Job summary

Sportradar AG in the United States seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the software powering Automated Video Production and AI-driven sports content solutions. You will build APIs, services, and backend components that enable live streaming and data-driven features across global events.

You will collaborate with a distributed team, explore new technologies, and contribute to scalable, secure software using Python and web APIs, with Linux, Docker-like containers, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and experience with other languages.
• Strong experience managing larger projects from conception to maturity.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with Linux systems and API-based development (Flask/OpenAPI).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain libraries, components and backend services for Automated Video Production systems.
• Analyze business requirements and design new functionalities in modular components.
• Research new technologies to address technical issues and improve processes.
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle with modern tooling and best practices.
• Design, implement and extend APIs for scalable, secure services.
