Ambition Europe Limited is seeking a US Tax Innovation Lead (fully remote) to join its fast-growing, technology-driven professional services team. You will own the technical review of complex US tax matters and collaborate with product and engineering teams to advance AI-powered tax solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience preparing, reviewing, and signing US individual tax returns.
• Strong technical knowledge of US international and cross-border taxation.
• Active CPA or EA qualification (ATT/CTA is desirable).
• Experience reviewing the work of others and maintaining high-quality technical standards.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Proactive mindset and genuine interest in technology and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign US individual tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
• Manage a portfolio of clients from onboarding through to filing and ongoing advisory support.
• Provide guidance on complex US international tax matters, including FEIE, Foreign Tax Credits, FBAR and FATCA reporting, PFIC reporting, Form 5471 compliance, cross-border treaty matters.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to improve AI-driven tax workflows.
• Review and refine AI-generated tax outputs to ensure quality and precision.
• Contribute to the development of tax methodologies, quality control procedures, and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for greater automation.
