Job summary

Weekday AI seeks a Tax AI Expert to join a remote, contract-based team. You will drive tax provision, planning, and compliance using AI, covering sales and payroll tax across multiple jurisdictions. Collaboration with finance, legal, and tech will embed AI into tax workflows.

Ideal candidates hold CA/CPA and 2–8 years in tax, with Python/SQL and data analytics experience, and a strong ability to translate complex tax rules into automated processes for accurate regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 2–8 years of tax experience including provision, planning, and compliance.
• Experience with sales tax, payroll tax, and multi-jurisdictional tax frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and Python/SQL.
• Ability to translate tax rules into automated logic.
