Job summary

Libra Solutions seeks a Technical Product Owner to own the requirements and delivery lifecycle for an engineering pod. AI-assisted tooling will drive artifact generation—user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows—while you translate business needs into engineering-ready specifications.

The role reports to the VP/Director, Engineering and can be based in Denver, Huntsville, Rosemont, or Las Vegas with remote options and periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on software development experience.
• 3+ years in technical product ownership, solutions analysis, or software engineering.
• Ability to read and reason about application code and architectures.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data modeling, and web apps.
• T-SQL or equivalent for data investigation and validation.
• Experience with AI-assisted requirements tools and AI workflows.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence; familiar with Draw.io/Lucidchart.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with stakeholders to define scope and requirements.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories.
• Direct AI-assisted tools to generate and validate requirements artifacts.
• Own and refine the pod backlog and plan engineering-ready work.
• Collaborate with Product Management on roadmap-to-deliverables.
• Partner with senior engineers on complex integrations and architectures.
• Run all pod ceremonies: refinement, planning, review, and retro.
• Accept delivery via acceptance criteria and code reviews.
• Ensure a consistent definition of done across the team.
