Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is seeking an Associate Technical Content Engineer to join our Global Operations team in Overland Park, KS. You will develop and deliver technical content using DITA, AI-assisted workflows, and CCMS tools while collaborating with multiple internal groups to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role emphasizes structured authoring, content quality, and knowledge management, with opportunities to shape how technical changes are communicated to market participants globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical writing, communications, English, CS, or related field.
• 0-2 years of technical writing experience.
• Experience with structured authoring (DITA/CCMS).
• Experience applying AI/automation tools to content workflows.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and Compliance.
• Knowledge of version control, metadata management, and content reuse.
• Experience with XML validation and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and publish technical content including notices and specifications under supervision.
• Design structured content using DITA and manage metadata and taxonomy.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Business teams to gather information.
• Ensure content adheres to corporate standards and quality controls.
• Incorporate AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge base articles to support the team.
