Schwab is seeking a strategic program leader to drive technology risk, cybersecurity, and transformation initiatives across the firm. You will coordinate governance, vulnerability management, and AI adoption efforts with engineering, security, risk, and operations teams to translate complex findings into actionable remediation plans.

The role emphasizes executive communication, cross-functional influence, and accountability to reduce risk and enable continuous improvement in Schwab's technology

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of leading technology, cybersecurity or risk programs across multiple teams.
• Established governance, reporting, prioritization frameworks for vulnerability management.
• Coordinate intake, triage, tracking and resolution of security findings via Jira or similar.
• Partner with engineering, security, risk and operations to deliver enterprise initiatives.
• Manage risks, issues and executive communications in large programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and concise senior-leadership updates.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance, dashboards, and portfolio tracking for technology risk.
• Coordinate vulnerability management end-to-end from intake to remediation.
• Oversee findings across security and testing channels, including AI-driven findings.
• Partner across teams to ensure actionable findings and prioritized remediation.
• Develop reporting processes to improve transparency across the vulnerability lifecycle.
• Use program management to strengthen Schwab's technology risk posture and quality.
