Job summary

Onshore is the modern standard for U.S. companies claiming the R&D tax credit. This NYC-based role requires in-office attendance Monday–Friday and centers on developing new client relationships, understanding client needs, and closing opportunities with a customer-centric approach.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in business development or related roles, a Bachelor's degree, and a passion for tech and tax. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, with CRM experience a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 1+ years in Business Development, Sales Development, or a customer-facing role with quota responsibilities.
• Passion for technology, AI, and the financial/tax industry with ability to learn technical product concepts.

Responsibilities

• Strategically uncover qualified businesses using creative prospecting to expand reach.
• Proactively connect with potential clients via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and outreach channels.
• Work with directors to identify high-priority accounts, target industries, and partnerships.
• Cultivate relationships with owners and executives to understand needs and show value of services.
• Keep CRM updated with detailed outreach records for follow-up and tracking.
• Represent Onshore with energy, professionalism, and customer-focused value.
