Avathon, based in California, seeks an exceptional Corporate Strategist, Finance & Investment Strategy to join the executive team and shape long‑term enterprise value through capital allocation, investments, and partnerships.

You will build financial models, evaluate strategic opportunities, and present analyses to the Board and investors, bridging strategy, product, and finance across a fast‑growing Industrial AI company.

Qualifications

• MBA from a leading global university.
• 3–5 years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, management consulting, corporate development, corporate strategy or strategic finance.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, scenario modeling, and business‑case development.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear executive recommendations and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define Avathon’s financial and investment strategy aligned with growth.
• Develop financial models, investment cases, and scenario analyses for major decisions.
• Evaluate capital allocation and prioritization across product development, AI/tech, markets, partnerships, and initiatives.
• Assess strategic investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and other corporate development opportunities.
• Develop market sizing, revenue models, unit economics, and long‑range financial scenarios for new products and verticals.
• Analyze pricing, margins, cost structure, and growth drivers to improve scalability.
• Monitor the AI, industrial technology, and investment landscape for opportunities and risks.
• Support long‑range company modeling and planning with cross‑functional input.
• Provide executive analyses and recommendations for Board, investor, and financing discussions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership across Finance, Product, and Strategy.
