Roark Capital, Atlanta‑based private equity firm, seeks an Analyst for Strategy & Analytics to perform hands‑on data analysis shaping investment decisions and growth strategies. You will source data, build analyses, and present clear insights used by investment professionals and portfolio leaders.

You will work across restaurant, retail, health & wellness, and consumer services brands, using GenAI tools to accelerate analysis while maintaining rigorous verification and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 1–3 years of professional or internship experience solving analytical business problems.
• Demonstrated ability to execute rigorous, detail‑oriented analysis and deliver accurate work.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate analysis into insights.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on familiarity with GenAI tools and curiosity about applying them in real work.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or other programming languages for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own analytical workstreams end‑to‑end – scoping the question, sourcing data, and defending conclusions.
• Gather, clean, analyze, and synthesize data from diverse sources to answer business questions.
• Ensure high quality by validating numbers and cross‑checking results.
• Work across industries including restaurants, retail, health & wellness, and consumer services.
• Structure ambiguous questions and design the analytical approach.
