Job summary

Vizient seeks a senior leader to drive strategic sourcing and contracting, partnering with Legal, Analytics, Sales, and Operations to deliver value for clients. You will manage 1099 engagements and lead a high-performing team through change, governance, and process improvements.

You will oversee supplier negotiations, contract frameworks, and portfolio development, ensuring alignment with Vizient standards and client ROI, while guiding a scalable operating model across departments and executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive experience in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier negotiations, or healthcare contracting.
• 3+ years of people leadership, including leading teams and coaching leaders.
• Strong track record in complex negotiations and portfolio development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of custom client sourcing and contracting strategies.
• Oversee full sourcing lifecycle from opportunity assessment to value realization.
• Serve as escalation point for complex contract structures and negotiations.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliant, effective contract execution.
• Measure outcomes: savings, revenue opportunities, and client ROI.
