Job summary

H Mart in New Jersey is seeking an Strategic Improvement Manager to lead the AI-enabled Strategic Improvement Team, driving enterprise-wide initiatives that boost profitability, supply chain performance, merchandising, and overall results. You will partner with executive leadership, apply AI-enabled analysis using Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, mentor a high‑performing team, and deliver measurable impact.

Work hours are 8:30 AM–5:30 PM with a salary range of $130,000–$178,400; actual compensation

Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Five years of experience in retail, supply chain, analytics, consulting, or related fields.
Demonstrated leadership managing cross-functional business initiatives.
Experience using AI platforms to improve research, analysis, and decision making.

Responsibilities

Lead AI-enabled strategic improvement initiatives across functions.
Partner with executives to set priorities and build roadmaps.
Direct projects across supply chain, merchandising, pricing, promotions, operating expenses, inventory, and profitability.
Validate AI insights with data analysis and business judgment.
Establish success metrics, track results, and report to leadership.
Identify opportunities to apply AI to boost productivity and decision making.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
Review, prioritize, approve, and manage departmental projects, schedules, budgets, and resources.
Foster a culture of innovation with strong analytical accuracy.
