Job summary

H Mart is seeking a Business Strategy Analyst to support enterprise-wide initiatives, combining business analysis, data analytics, and AI-enabled research to tackle complex operational challenges in the New Jersey area.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain performance, pricing, merchandising, and profitability, while developing data-driven recommendations and executive-facing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Two to three years of experience in business analysis, retail, supply chain, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and business analytics tools.
• Ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve research, analysis, and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Support: plan, execute, implement, and measure Strategic Improvement projects.
• Business Analysis: identify operational challenges, opportunities, and benchmarks.
• AI-Enabled Research: use AI tools to accelerate research and generate recommendations.
• Tool Evaluation: assess new AI tools for retail, distribution, merchandising, and operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: work with leaders to gather needs and align on objectives.
• Solution Development: develop data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
• Implementation Support: assist units during implementation and monitor benefits.
• Reporting: create executive dashboards and communications with clear results.
