Solidigm is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a storage-software team in the AI-centric era, responsible for strategy and delivery across concurrent software initiatives, including open source and closed source solutions.

This role owns the full people-management lifecycle, shapes the team's roadmap, and coordinates with SSD engineering teams, hardware timelines, and external partners to ensure aligned, high-impact progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years software engineering experience, 2+ years in software team management.
• Ability to own strategy and set priorities for multiple initiatives.
• Experience with Agile/Kanban delivery and reporting.
• Full lifecycle people-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a storage-software team responsible for strategy and delivery across multiple initiatives.
• Own headcount planning, hiring requisitions, and staffing.
• Set and track individual and team performance goals.
• Design onboarding and ramp-up programs for engineers.
• Define and evolve the software team's overall strategy and roadmap.
• Coordinate with cross-site teams and external partners.
• Engage in open-source upstreaming and ecosystem engagement.
