Job summary

Solidigm is seeking an experienced SSD Architecture leader to define and evolve the domain architecture for next-generation data center storage solutions. You will drive architectural vision, influence cross-functional execution, and ensure high-performance, scalable products.

You will operate at the intersection of system architecture, silicon design, and firmware, guiding trade-offs and delivering impactful innovations aligned with Solidigm's business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of embedded systems architecture and design experience, with hands-on contributions to ASIC and/or firmware development.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture for one or more critical SSD domains (e.g., PCIe/NVMe, memory controller, CPU complex).
• Lead development of architecture specifications, including system flows, hardware/software partitioning, and performance optimization strategies.
• Provide technical leadership across the full product lifecycle—from concept through implementation, validation, and product bring-up.
• Partner with controller, firmware, hardware, and validation engineering teams to translate architectural intent into successful execution.
