Job summary

Ascend Learning is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the enterprise architecture vision with a strong focus on AI-enabled integrations. You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and the Enterprise Architecture team to design scalable platforms across business units.

You will drive architectural patterns, governance, and DevOps practices, ensuring secure, resilient systems while enabling AI capabilities such as LLMs and ML pipelines at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software architecture, design, and implementation with multiple technologies.
• 4+ years implementing eCommerce and Marketing Automation, Adobe Commerce and HubSpot preferred.
• 3+ years software development in Java, PHP, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, and SQL; microservices and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with Kafka, Azure Service Bus, LogicApps, PowerPlatform.
• Clear documentation of architecture and roadmaps; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions and design.
• Understand the business processes and facilitate discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and rules.
• Evaluate environments, research and implement innovative designs for reliability, security, productivity, and efficiency.
• Visualize and explain solutions to the business via POC or diagrams.
• Design architectural patterns and guardrails for AI capabilities at scale, including LLMs and ML pipelines.
• Advocate for DevOps and CI/CD, scaling components and APIs, automated deployment, and monitoring.
• Own design and governance decisions across enterprise platforms; ensure scalable, resilient software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and executives; present recommendations concisely.
