Job summary

Ascend Learning in Burlington, MA, seeks a Solution Architect to shape the technical vision for enterprise platforms with AI-enabled workflows. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, engineers, and enterprise architects to define integrations and scalable architectures across multiple business units.

You will lead initiatives, develop prototypes, and document systems and processes while aligning with DevOps, CI/CD practices, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, IT, CS or engineering.
• 4+ years of software architecture, design, and implementation.
• 4+ years implementing eCommerce and Marketing Automation with Magento and HubSpot.
• 3+ years of development with Java, PHP, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, and SQL; microservices experience.
• Experience with Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, documentation, and reviews.
• Understand business processes to identify entities, relationships, and business rules.
• Evaluate environments and implement innovative designs for reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Explain solutions to business stakeholders via POC, diagrams, or clear visuals.
• Design architectural patterns and guardrails to enable AI capabilities across platforms.
