Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to drive AI-based modernization of legacy systems in a Santa Clara, CA setting. You will design scalable processes, pioneer generative AI-based code translation, and implement multi-agent AI workflows for code analysis.

Responsibilities include automated verification for AI-generated code, integrating AI tools for testing, and ensuring security and performance across deployments in cloud and on-premise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years in software engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in AI application development.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent AI workflows for code analysis and logic extraction.
• Deep expertise in modern languages (C#, ASP.NET Core, Python, Java, Go).
• Strong familiarity with legacy enterprise environments (WPF, WCF, ASP, C++, C#, or mainframe architectures).
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, microservices, hybrid edge-to-cloud topologies, and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
• Advanced knowledge of automated pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments and database technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
