Age of Learning is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the ABCmouse product team to architect and build high-performance web and mobile applications that reach millions of learners. You will design AI-enabled workflows and partner with product, design, and data teams to deliver impactful features.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, production ownership, and leadership in AI tooling adoption. You should enjoy shaping how AI engineering works on our team while shipping reliable software

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in consumer-facing web or mobile apps.
• 2+ years prompting, evaluating, and building with AI coding assistants.
• Experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and context window management.
• Shipped production cross-platform mobile apps to iOS and Google Play.

Responsibilities

• Apply agentic workflows across the SDLC and evolve AI engineering practices.
• Own features end-to-end through production with data-driven validation.
• Drive technical decisions and set architectural direction for your area of ownership.
• Refactor code and ship improvements as part of delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders on scope and timelines.
• Develop features for web, iOS, and Android deployments.
