Job summary

Age of Learning, Inc. in Glendale, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Native to build AI-first web and mobile features for ABCmouse. You will design agentic workflows, ship end-to-end features, and mentor teams in AI tooling usage.

Attend to production monitoring, performance tuning, and collaboration with Product and Design to align on scope and timelines. This role offers hybrid work and impact across millions of learners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs and AI coding assistants.
• Deep experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and context window management.
• Track record of using AI tooling to multiply output beyond autocomplete.
• End-to-end feature ownership through production, with post-release monitoring.
• Shipped cross‑platform mobile apps to iOS and Google Play.
• Familiar with software design patterns and full SDLC.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply agentic workflows across the SDLC and evolve the team's AI‑Native practices.
• Own features end‑to‑end through production and use data to validate assumptions.
• Drive technical decisions and architectural direction for your area of ownership.
• Leave the codebase cleaner than you found it via continuous refactoring.
• Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to align on scope and timelines.
• Identify, design, and develop features for web, iOS, and Android.
