Job summary

Cisco's CX Engineering is seeking a Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-enhanced software solutions. You will build Python-based apps, RESTful APIs, and microservices that integrate AI capabilities, while implementing CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes across major clouds.

You will collaborate with design and product teams to translate requirements into features, ensure reliability with testing and post-mortems, and contribute to scalable, data-driven software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Proficient in Python development and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development environments to accelerate the SDLC.
• Experience with relational data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized apps on cloud platforms.
• Ensure quality with Pytest, code reviews, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
