Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support planning cycles and strategic projects within the WW Grocery Stores FP&A organization. You will own delivering key planning reports, leading reviews, and providing insights to senior leadership while exploring automation and AI-enabled reporting.

This role partners with finance and business leaders across the company, requiring analytical thinking, collaboration, and the ability to tell a data-driven story.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Responsibilities

• Support planning cycles (e.g., rest-of-year, 1-year, 3-year, 10-year), including preparing financials reports and P&Ls, conducting in-depth analysis, and collecting key insight from finance partners
• Drive strategic projects across our Amazon Grocery banners
• Provide valuable insight for decision-making and financial planning
• Analyze and recommend cost-saving opportunities
• Support WW Amazon Stores Finance (IPAT) and Corporate FP&A to communicate grocery plans and performance to Amazon senior leadership and Board of Directors
• Continue developing the team’s vision, establish a positive team culture, and develop top talent
