Job summary

TENEX.AI is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to orchestrate the delivery of our AI-native security initiatives. You will lead cross-functional programs that connect frontier AI research, infrastructure engineering, and security operations, driving critical product milestones with a strategic, risk-aware mindset.

Based in San Jose, CA or Kansas City, KS, you will operate in a hybrid model and collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and security professionals to scale AI-driven MDR

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management delivering AI/ML initiatives from concept to production.
• Experience with LLM deployment, data infrastructure, and model performance.
• Strong cybersecurity domain knowledge including SIEM/SOAR and SecOps workflows.
• Experience building scalable processes in high-growth startups with balance of speed and security.
• Excellent cross-functional communication to explain technical strategy to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs bridging AI research, engineering, and security teams to meet product milestones.
• Establish and manage frameworks for scaling AI-driven security capabilities from prototype to production.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks across distributed teams.
• Define program governance ensuring security, compliance, and performance throughout the lifecycle.
• Bridge AI researchers/engineers and executive stakeholders with clear roadmaps and outcomes.
