Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a highly capable technical program manager to own national security program execution.

You will collaborate with engineers to translate requirements into actionable work, manage dependencies, and drive delivery across secure environments in support of homeland defense initiatives. You will coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders, maintain traceability from objectives to software builds, and travel as needed for onsite engagements and evaluations.

Qualificações

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years in technical program delivery roles.
• Strong technical literacy across software architecture, APIs, data systems, system integration, and AI/ML-enabled products.
• Ability to write detailed requirements for engineering execution.
• Experience leading complex technical programs across multiple teams.
• Understanding of program management fundamentals (requirements traceability, dependencies, risks, schedules, deliverables).
• Ability to reason about data availability and software integration in secure environments.
• Comfort working in secure facilities and air-gapped government systems.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% for onsite engagements.

Responsabilidades

• Own technical execution for national security mission areas from requirements through deployment and evaluation.
• Translate workflows into PRDs, ERDs, and executable engineering work.
• Collaborate with engineers during cycle planning to define scope and milestones.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from customer objective to software deliverables.
• Drive Jira/GitLab execution and contribute to master schedules and planning.
• Manage data availability, architecture, integration dependencies, and constraints across secure networks.
• Identify blockers early and elevate risks as needed.
• Partner with subcontractors and external teams, defining interfaces and accountability.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to engineers and senior stakeholders.
