Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect/Engineer in the United States (McLean, VA) to shape secure software solutions and platform products. You will lead AI-enabled cybersecurity initiatives, create reusable security frameworks, and drive risk mitigation across the organization.

You will design secure production code, oversee IAM implementations, and mentor teams, while advancing SDLC best practices and data-security standards across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering/architecture with applied experience in system design and application development.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, C/C++, Node, or Golang.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions within SDLC and agile environments.
• Cloud-native security and DevOps practices with familiarity across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure solutions and review code.
• Architect complex, scalable cybersecurity frameworks for cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead AI-enabled cybersecurity strategy and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Translate technical issues to leadership to inform target state architecture.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and teams; mentor engineers.
• Advocate SDLC best practices and promote diversity and continuous learning.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate security analysis and decisioning.
• Drive reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation within SDLC/toolchains.
