Job summary

CSC Generation is seeking a SecOps Engineer to build AI-aware defenses across cloud and codebases. You will write code, stand up pipelines, and integrate with observability stacks to deliver actionable security insights across our AWS footprint.

Within 6–12 months you will have production security tooling running in CI/CD, real-time threat detection via ELK and Grafana, and AI-powered perimeter monitoring protecting our cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure (IAM, VPC, networking/security groups, compute/storage) and common misconfigurations.
• Experience with GitHub Workflows / Actions and CI/CD tooling.
• Practical experience using AI/LLM tools to build analysis or automation tooling.
• Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10, cloud misconfigurations and supply chain risks.
• Familiarity with observability platforms like ELK and Grafana; dashboards/alerts.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Go, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and run analysis tools to scan codebases for security vulnerabilities and remediation guidance.
• Integrate security scanning into GitHub Workflows (CI/CD) for every commit/PR.
• Design and build threat detection tools to correlate signals in ELK/Grafana for real-time threats.
• Develop AI-powered tools to monitor AWS perimeter and drive automated responses.
• Own full lifecycle of security tooling from prototype to production with reliability monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate findings into actionable steps.
