Job summary

Akina Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer with a solid Linux foundation to advance AI-assisted reverse engineering tools. You will design tooling for RE workflows, prototype autonomous agents, automate tasks, and apply AI techniques to binaries.

You’ll work closely with customers and teammates to refine solutions and quantify tool effectiveness. The role emphasizes hands-on development in Linux, low-level concepts, and scripting in Python/C/C++, with Jira/Confluence for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of software/systems development, or a Master’s with 4+ years.
• Four additional SWE years may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and build tooling enhancements for reverse engineering workflows.
• Experiment with autonomous or semi-autonomous agents to support development.
• Automate common reverse engineering tasks, including analysis and documentation.
• Apply AI-assisted techniques to binary analysis, annotation, and pattern identification.
• Collaborate with customers and teammates to shape and refine solutions.
• Measure and document the effectiveness of tooling improvements.
