Neural Solutions in Columbia, MD is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in AI-assisted reverse engineering tools. You will design enhancements for RE workflows using AI, work with autonomous agents, and automate analysis tasks.

The role requires 6 years of experience with a technical degree or 4 additional years without a degree, deep Linux/assembly knowledge, and proficiency in Python or C/C++. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enhancements for RE workflows using AI-assisted tooling.
• Experiment with autonomous or semi-autonomous agents to support development tasks.
• Automate common RE tasks, including analysis and documentation processes.
• Apply AI techniques to binary analysis, annotation, and pattern recognition.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra or IDA Pro.
• In-depth understanding of low-level concepts: Linux file formats, assembly, binaries, memory, and calling conventions.

• Experience in developing tools, scripts, or plugins for analysis workflows.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java or C programming languages.
• Background in analyzing cyber security-related datasets (network traffic, OS events).

Salary Range: $174,000 - $207,000
