Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Senior Revenue Accounting Systems & Automation Analyst to shape how the organization uses systems, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to improve reporting quality and strengthen controls.

You will own end-to-end initiatives across Salesforce, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, Snowflake, Tableau Cloud, Tableau Prep, and Excel, partnering with Finance, IT, Data, and Business Intelligence teams to reduce manual effort and drive scalable revenue reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and revenue-related business processes.
• Advanced Excel expertise including complex formulas, pivot tables, and large dataset analysis.
• Demonstrated experience translating accounting requirements into scalable reporting, data, automation, or system solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with financial reporting, analytics, automation, finance systems, or process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development and enhancement of revenue accounting reports, dashboards, analytics, and data models.
• Drive automation and process simplification to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls.
• Translate complex accounting requirements into scalable system and data solutions with stakeholders.
• Lead AI-enabled reporting, analysis, documentation, and reconciliations with governance.
• Design and optimize Tableau Cloud dashboards and Tableau Prep workflows for consistent revenue data.
• Analyze revenue data across Snowflake and other sources to reconcile information and improve data quality.
• Develop advanced Excel models and analytics to reduce manual spreadsheet dependence.
• Drive enhancements across Salesforce, Zuora Billing,Zuora Revenue to improve data flows and end-to-end processes.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to implement sustainable data and process improvements.
• Develop repeatable exception reporting and monitoring to enable early issue detection.
