Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Modem Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize real-time embedded firmware for the MPSS modem subsystem, close to the metal on DSP and Arm cores across protocol layers and drivers.

You will drive AI-native development practices, build AI-assisted tooling for reviews and tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-quality modem firmware.

Qualifications

• Strong command of data structures and algorithms to optimize in memory- and time-constrained environments.
• Deep understanding of operating systems concepts: scheduling, concurrency, interrupts, memory management, RTOS internals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize real-time embedded modem software across protocol layers, drivers, and platform services.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery: requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, bring-up, and maintenance.
• Pioneer AI-native development practices within the team and integrate AI tooling into daily workflows.
