Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in CS/CE/EE/Data Science with 2027–2028 graduation.
• Experience with software development, source control, and testing.
• Experience with Python, C++, C#, Rust, or Java; ability to write/debug.
• Exposure to AI or machine learning concepts through coursework or projects.
• Strong communication; able to work on-site in Colorado Springs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and document software for a scoped project.
• Apply Generative AI and agentic techniques under mentor.
• Build integrations between AI systems and engineer tools (IDE, VCS, CI/CD).
• Gather requirements from engineers and adapt design accordingly.
• Write automated tests and contribute to AI quality metrics.
• Measure adoption and impact of tooling.
• Learn new tools; work within Git, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Document and demonstrate tooling to teams.
• Present project results to team and R&D leadership at internship end.
