Job summary

Keysight Technologies is offering a paid summer internship in Colorado Springs for students pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science. You will join an Agile software team and work on AI-powered features for Keysight digital instruments, including sampling and realtime oscilloscopes, BERTs, and AWGs.

You will be assigned a mentor, contribute to test tooling, and present results to the team and R&D leadership at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Experience with software development, source control, and testing.
• Experience with object-oriented programming in Python, C++, C#, Rust, or Java and ability to write and debug non-trivial code.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, testing, and documenting software for a scoped project on the team’s roadmap.
• Applying Generative AI and agentic techniques under mentor guidance.
• Writing automated tests and contributing to evaluation of AI features.
• Learning development tools and following Git, code review, and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding Keysight digital instruments to make engineering decisions.
• Participating in stand-ups, design reviews, and demos; reporting progress and blockers.
