Job summary

UKG is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Shared Services team within Employee Solutions & Experience. The role focuses on advancing Quality Engineering through scalable test automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and reusable solutions that help product teams deliver high-quality software quickly.

You will design and implement modern automation solutions, contribute to engineering and DevOps best practices, and partner with development teams across ESE to improve test coverage,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality engineering, DevOps, or related field with strong automation background.
• Hands-on in browser automation (Playwright/Selenium) and API/integration/end-to-end testing.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and modern devops tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and libraries.
• Create reusable testing capabilities for browser, API, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Elevate quality through observability, telemetry, and AI-assisted development.
• Collaborate with dev, DevOps, SRE, security, and release teams to improve delivery quality.
• Mentor engineers and testers in automation and AI-enabled engineering.
