HP IQ's Product Integrity & Developer Productivity team is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Intern in San Francisco. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents that leverage pre-trained models to improve developer productivity and product quality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed bachelor’s or graduate degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of coding fundamentals and ability to learn new languages/frameworks.
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and pre-trained models; strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to break down complex problems and work independently while knowing when to ask for help.
• Willingness to question processes and propose improvements; comfortable with change.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical choices clearly.
• Familiarity with software development workflows, QA testing practices, or developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on AI-powered tools and workflows that improve engineering productivity.
• Develop intelligent systems that automate software development, testing, debugging, or QA processes.
• Prototype and evaluate approaches for applying large language models to engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with engineers, ML engineers, PMs, designers, and cross-functional partners to deliver impactful solutions.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
