Job summary

RFgen is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Professional Services team at our El Dorado Hills, CA headquarters. You will own test strategy and execution across customer deployment projects, customizing builds, configurations, and ERP integrations to ensure live deployments meet quality standards.

You will lead AI-driven QA initiatives, apply modern AI tools, and collaborate with solution architects, engineering, product, and support to elevate testing coverage and speed in demanding industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing and QA with independent work.
• Hands-on manual testing including black-box and functional testing.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to improve QA work.
• Proven test planning and structured test case design.
• Risk-based prioritization and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Global distributed team experience, including overlap with India.
• Basic SQL for database validation and backend testing.
• Understanding of programming concepts and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Own test planning and execution for customer deployment projects.
• Validate customized solutions and ERP/system integrations.
• Apply AI-driven QA practices to raise coverage, speed, and quality.
• Test functional, regression, exploratory, and backend/system-level areas.
• Drive defects to resolution across active projects.
• Own go-live readiness and provide clear QA status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineering, product, and support.
• Maintain QA documentation and standards for the team.
