Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Quality Engineer in Massachusetts with strong automation, AI-assisted QA, and cloud-based testing expertise. You will design and maintain automated tests for APIs, web and mobile apps, integrate tests into CI/CD, and mentor junior QA analysts across cross‑functional teams.

You will contribute to scalable load testing on Google Cloud Platform, manage test data, and help improve QA processes while collaborating with product and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; 5 years of QA/Automation experience.
• Experience with API, web, mobile, and load testing.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted QA tooling and cloud-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites across API, web, mobile, and performance testing domains.
• Builds reusable test utilities, fixtures, and frameworks that improve reliability and reduce flakiness.
• Develops mobile test automation, including simulator/emulator execution and CI/CD integration.
• Develops and applies AI-assisted tooling to support testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Supports scalable cloud-based load testing using GCP, Kubernetes, and related infra practices.
• Analyzes results and defects to identify risks and QA improvements.
• Integrates automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with reporting and environment management.
• Establishes QA best practices, coding standards, and troubleshooting guidance.
