Job summary

Catholic Relief Services is seeking an Analyst II, Pipeline Development and Research to conduct donor prospect research, develop predictive models, and implement AI-enabled solutions that strengthen fundraising through donor relationship mapping and data analytics.

The role combines traditional research with the development and evaluation of new AI tools, working with internal teams to optimize donor placement within pipelines and inform engagement strategies worldwide.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of machine learning modeling techniques (e.g. random forest, gradient boosting)
• Knowledge of social network analysis
• Familiarity with agentic AI
• Familiarity with prospect research for philanthropic fundraising
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Detail oriented, results-oriented and proactive

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: identify and prioritize high-value donor prospects and prepare intelligence to support cultivation and solicitation efforts.
• Agentic Engineering: develop and enhance internal AI solutions for prospecting and research, including data from internal graph databases and external sources.
• Predictive Analytics: develop models to optimize donor placement, improve model performance, and provide real-time results.
• Data Discovery: evaluate internal and vendor data for utility and incorporation into modeling and reporting.
