Johnson Controls is seeking a Program Data Analyst to transform messy, unstructured project data into actionable insights. You will process large datasets, perform analyses under deadlines, and evaluate AI use cases to build prototypes that prove concepts before budget is committed.

You will work with project teams, engineering, sales, and leaders, consolidating data from multiple systems to deliver timely outputs that inform decisions and delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, data science, computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Ability to process large, inconsistent datasets end to end, including extraction from documents and reconciliation across sources.
• Proficiency in Python or an equivalent scripting language, advanced Excel, and SQL.
• Experience calling and integrating APIs and building small automations without waiting for a development team.
• Practical experience applying AI services to a real workflow, with sound judgment about where they do not fit.
• Clear written communication and the discipline to document a method so it can be repeated and defended.

Responsibilities

• Process project data, perform analysis and research, evaluate and implement AI use cases, and develop proofs of concept.
• Consolidate information from multiple systems and sources into outputs that support delivery and decision-making.
• Work with project teams, engineering, sales and leaders to understand what each request needs to answer.
• Build small prototypes using scripting, cloud services, and API integrations to test proposed automation or digital tools.
• Document methods and hand off validated prototypes with sufficient documentation for production.
