Job summary

Mariana Minerals seeks a first Production Planner to partner with each site, building and consolidating plans into a company-wide view. You’ll develop planning tools in MarianaOS, leveraging AI-enabled development, and own KPIs across productivity, cycle times, and costs.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll drive OpEx improvements and shape the central planning playbook, thriving in a scrappy, data-driven startup culture that builds systems from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations or production planning; OpEx/CI background preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs (productivity, cycle times, costs).
• Data-driven builder who uses metrics to drive decisions and AI to create the tools that track them.
• Highly collaborative, with strong communication skills across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leads to build and maintain site-level production plans.
• Consolidate production plans across all locations into a unified, company-wide view.
• Define, track, and report KPIs covering productivity, cycle times, and costs.
• Build planning tools in MarianaOS using AI-assisted development.
• Take over and expand the production planning work across the team.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives and identify opportunities to improve site operations.
• Work with site leadership and program managers to keep plans aligned and on track.
