Job summary

Inhabit is seeking a skilled Product Owner to define and manage the product backlog for our AI-driven, B2B/B2C software. You will translate strategic goals into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks, collaborating with design, engineering, QA, support, sales, marketing, and SMEs in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid role based in Plano, TX (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Requires 2+ years in Product Owner roles, strong UI/UX, Agile/Scrum experience, and the ability to balance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Experience translating strategy into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and tasks.
• Proven UI/UX experience, collaborating with design teams to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, prioritize, refine, and maintain the product backlog for high-value items.
• Translate strategy and needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and development tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering throughout sprint planning, standups, grooming, reviews, and releases.
• Clarify requirements, answer questions, remove ambiguity, and support delivery progress.
• Partner with Training, Support, SMEs, Sales, and Marketing for knowledge transfer and go-to-market execution.
• Validate work against acceptance criteria and product goals; monitor usability and quality.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks to stakeholders.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve product quality and business value.
