Job summary

EY is seeking a Category Management & Sourcing Consulting Manager to lead client engagements and drive strategic procurement improvements. You will guide workshops, develop AI-driven solutions, and coach teams to deliver cost reductions and optimized sourcing strategies.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in strategic sourcing with procurement consulting exposure, and a strong track record in category management and drive for value creation in complex engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• 5–8 years in strategic sourcing and category management, with at least 2 years in procurement consulting
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
• Category experience in indirect or direct category management

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing engagements to assess procurement opportunities and drive improvements
• Prepare for and lead process workshops with clients to gather information and identify savings
• Develop innovative solutions leveraging leading practices and AI
• Mentor junior team members and coach on delivering client value
• Own deliverables throughout the project lifecycle and ensure client alignment
• Support business development and contribute to thought leadership on procurement tech
