Businessolver seeks a Principal Test Engineer to drive AI-assisted and agent-driven testing, improving coverage and efficiency across enterprise systems. You will define testing strategy for unit, API, UI, and performance testing and lead the evolution of a scalable UI automation framework.

You will mentor the quality team, collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams, and guide tool selection and testing practices to reduce defects and accelerate delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance or software engineering with automated/manual testing in high-volume environments.
• Proven success using AI-assisted, agent-driven testing to improve coverage and quality.
• Experience developing enterprise test strategies across unit, integration, API, UI, regression, exploratory, performance, and risk-based testing.
• Strong expertise with automation frameworks and tools including TestNG, JUnit, Selenium, API testing tools, and related quality tech.
• Experience with performance and load testing, including test design and analysis.
• Ability to establish testing standards and best practices to reduce defects.
• Mentoring engineers in effective unit and integration testing practices.
• Hands-on leadership in test design, framework strategy, and automation improvements.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to influence quality.

Responsabilidades

• Develop AI Agents that perform manual and automated testing to support rapid delivery of code changes.
• Drive the development and adoption of agent-driven testing practices to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Define and maintain the overall testing strategy across unit, API, UI, regression, performance, and risk-based testing.
• Own the UI automation framework development, focusing on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Lead performance and load testing design, tooling direction, and system improvement recommendations.
• Understand system architecture and align testing strategy to high-risk areas.
• Establish and refine testing standards and quality guardrails to reduce defects.
• Provide hands-on leadership in test design, framework enhancement, and troubleshooting.
