Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a Practice Innovation and Knowledge Attorney to strategically advise on practice innovation and manage knowledge initiatives across legal departments.

The role interfaces with Practice Innovation, Practice Management and attorneys to deliver AI-enabled knowledge systems, curate content, and drive adoption while maintaining client-focused service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a Juris Doctorate with current bar admission.
• Minimum of five years of practitioner experience in the practice of law, with knowledge management or legal innovation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lawyers and operations to assess innovation needs and deliver value-driven client service.
• Lead practice innovation and knowledge projects, developing knowledge delivery systems including AI-driven solutions.
• Build relationships with department and practice group leaders to align objectives with innovation initiatives.
• Support adoption of innovative solutions through change management best practices.
• Curate best-of precedents and knowledge for the relevant practice areas.
• Assist practitioners in overcoming barriers to AI outputs and client requirements for AI use.
