Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Manager Portfolio Marketing to lead AI-enabled commercial capabilities, field technology initiatives, and portfolio insights for UPLIZNA. You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Health IT, Medical, Compliance, and agencies to optimize execution and adoption across the US market.

The role emphasizes governance, KPI tracking, vendor management, and delivering measurable outcomes through AI-driven insights and digital field enablement.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or high school with AI-enabled commercial capabilities and field technology experience.
• Progressive US marketing or portfolio marketing experience with a strong foundation in customer insight and execution.
• Experience leading AI, Health IT, CRM, field technology, or commercial capability workstreams for a complex brand.
• Ability to translate needs into clear use cases, roadmaps, and adoption plans.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Vendor management, budgets, governance processes, and multiple interdependent workstreams.
• Strength in market analysis, customer engagement, KPI measurement, and AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI innovation roadmap translating priorities into use cases, requirements, pilots, and scale plans.
• Drive field and account technology initiatives to improve engagement, effectiveness, and decision support.
• Translate portfolio inputs into AI-enabled insight syntheses, briefs, and optimization opportunities.
• Own technology enhancements to tools and digital field enablement within remit.
• Establish governance and change-management for responsible AI, data quality, and compliant execution.
• Define and track KPIs for technology adoption, capability performance, and field impact.
• Lead matrixed workstreams across Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Medical, Compliance and partners.
• Manage vendors, SOWs, POs, timelines, budgets, and governance of multiple workstreams.

Education

Doctorate degree or higher with AI-enabled capabilities experience

Master’s degree with AI-enabled capabilities experience

Bachelor’s degree with AI-enabled capabilities experience

Associate’s degree with AI-enabled capabilities experience

High school diploma or GED with significant AI-enabled capabilities experience
