Job summary

Appian is seeking a seasoned Product Manager in McLean, VA to own the complete product lifecycle for AI-powered automation capabilities. You will bridge engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver innovative features at enterprise scale in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

With 5+ years in product management and a strong foundation in AI/LLM, you will shape strategic direction, metrics, and mentoring across the product group while working on high-impact initiatives in an on-site,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive experience in Product Management within technical/platform domains.
Strong AI/LLM fluency with both strategic development and hands-on tooling.
A data-driven problem solver who uses metrics to navigate trade-offs and align teams.

Responsibilities

Lead Collaborative Discovery with stakeholders in sales, marketing, and services to define and buy-in on product vision and priorities.
Act as the dedicated Product Owner within an Agile squad, framing feature needs and prioritizing increments for high-quality delivery.
Collaborate with engineers and UX to map feature work and review increments at sprint milestones.
Track adoption and usage of features using analytics to assess market impact and drive optimization.
Own end-to-end feature rollouts, documentations, enablement, bug prioritization, and market readiness.
Mentor junior product managers and model best practices across the department.
