EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Payment Solution Architect to design and implement scalable payment solutions for traditional and digital platforms. You will shape architectures, drive AI-enabled integrations, and ensure PCI DSS security and performance across cloud environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in pre-sales activities, and evaluate emerging payment and AI technologies to deliver robust fintech platforms. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience (Java/.NET) and 3+ years in Solution Architecture.
• Experience with payment gateways, acquiring, issuing, or card processing.
• APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and system integration.
• Hands-on AI/ML adoption across the SDLC in payment or fintech projects.
• Knowledge of payment security, PCI DSS, card schemes, and ISO 8583/ISO 20022.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Pre-sales, RFP, and client consulting experience.
• Strong communication, consulting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher).
• Nice to have GenAI, MLOps, or intelligent automation experience.
• Understanding of blockchain, crypto, and digital asset technologies.
• Knowledge of HSM, cryptography, and key management.
• Experience integrating digital assets with traditional banking systems.

Responsabilités

• Design scalable architectures for traditional and digital payment platforms.
• Define integration solutions for AI/ML, analytics, automation, and digital assets.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Ensure security, compliance, performance, and scalability, including PCI DSS requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, security, Mobile, Web, and Data teams.
• Support pre-sales activities, RFPs, client workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Evaluate emerging payment, AI, blockchain, and digital asset technologies.
